Susan Nance

Susan Nance holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in vocal performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. As a teaching assistant during her master’s degree studies, she taught private and class voice at the university.

In 1976 she moved to San Francisco where she has performed many roles in musical theater and operetta as well as presenting voice recitals.

Susan trained to be a teacher of the Alexander Technique in 1988-1991 at The Center for the Alexander Technique in Menlo Park.

In 2001-2002 Susan was certified as a Listening Fitness Instructor. She trained at The Listening Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Today she teaches voice, singing, and Alexander Technique, administers the Listening Fitness training to people from all walks of life, and coaches people who want to enhance their performance as speakers, actors, singers, and musicians.

 

Susan’s studio is located in San Francisco’s Richmond district, near Laurel Village.
